We often have close friends over to the house, spend time with their children, and look forward to the day that our children can play together.  We live in an active neighborhood full of young children, and our close friends provide an amazing support system.  The day we are lucky enough to be able to instill our passion for life and the outdoors into our children will be a dream come true for us.  The distinguishing features of our home are love and warmth, and we cannot wait to share it with our first child.

We are always outside, either for a jog around the neighborhood, a drive over to the mountains, or simply relaxing on the back patio with good friends.  Rebecca’s hobbies include running and amateur photography.  When she runs races, Doug is her avid cheering section and waits for her at the finish line!  Doug's hobby is playing the acoustic and electric guitar.  He’s played in a band and also plays for Rebecca before falling asleep.  We enjoy snowboarding ventures, hiking trips to the Sierra Nevada mountains, and just spending time together.  That being said, there are definitely a few nights a week that end with Rebecca asleep on Doug’s shoulder, having not made it through yet another movie!
